The other night we were talking about style and fashion mistakes that we have made over the years. Every time that topic comes up Denine mentions my 1980 white man's Afro. So here you have it, me back in June 1980 when curly perms were a style statement. Sigh. At least I still have my hair. And I don't think there are any 1977 leisure suit photos of me floating around.....

"Saint Patrick Goes To Church" was a hit at FBC last night. Every seat that was not bolted down was put in use to seat the overflow crowd. A lot of folks were impressed by the talented The Martin Family Band. It will not be a surprise if they become a big deal. It was a great night.

Joe, the guy in the center of this photo, has liver cancer and life is not too good right now. He has more tests tomorrow. Say a prayer for him. If you would like to help him financially contact Sandy at Grand Central Taproom (610) 944-7436 in Fleetwood. If you are interested, you can ask me how I met Joe.

We always enjoy going out for Vietnamese food at Hong Thanh and doing it for Cindy's birthday was a bonus. If you make a visit, try anything with the ginger lime sauce! It's great to see so many little places to eat pop up in Reading. It gives me hope for downtown.
