The New Sisterhood
It was great to have Tom and Sonja fly up from Florida to visit this past weekend. The guys did a lot of bike riding and it looks like the girls started some sort of new sisterhood club! Good times... good food...good sharing...great friends....

A great day at The Open...
It was great to be at the final round of the US Open with my pal Kevin. It is one of the most fun experiences in all of sport. At one point the leader board was packed with guys within a stroke or two of the lead and the lead changed back and forth. In the end, it was Phil's to win, but ....

My neighbor Pete loaned me a couple of DVDs called "American Folk Blues Festival". They are composed of footage recorded in Europe when blues artists were touring in the mid--1960s. Evidently the film was misplaced and then rediscovered after gathering dust for 40 years. The quality is awesome. If you love or even like the blues, you will want to see these sometime....
