Bob May and I were high school classmates. We spent quite a bit of time together back then. We keep in touch now and again. Over the last year we have exchanged a few thoughts on Donald Miller's book Blue Like Jazz.
Bob is currently teaching at Queen Salote College (QSC), an all-girls’ secondary school in Tonga. Before that, he was a missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church assigned to Palestine where he worked as an information technology engineer and instructor.
If you have a moment you can check out the UMC link about Bob. There are photos at the bottom left link and if you really feel like it send Bob a quick e-mail. I'm sure he loves hearing from anyone who is thinking about him back in the USA!
PS: I highly recommend reading Blue Like Jazz. It may change a few things about what you think about faith and it is refreshingly honest.
